On my return way from office I walked past by NYSE and as usual lost in thoughts. Sometimes I wonder if I can be cured of the disease called 'absent-mindness'. Okay, that is not the point. Just then I heard a lady ahead sweetly saying 'Hi'; mind you that 'Hi' came from a real girl and not from one in my thoughts. 'Wait. why should anyone care to greet me? No not for me dear'
I moved on and crossed my lady but then my optimistic side of my mind took over. 'May be she greeted me. Perhaps I am lucky and its a windfall!' I eagerly turned back only to see my girl liplocked with her supposedly boyfriend. He could not be her brother so definitely he was her boyfriend.
I smirked and then continued ... Life's little disappointments, you know!
